Pension By lime tree
A pension by Lime tree is a new-built accomodation facility which has offered its services since september 2004.The pension is situated in a village Dohňany 4 km from the town Púchov.
The pension is located in the Horné Považie region, close to the town of Púchov, in the picturesque village of Dohňany between the Javorníky and Biele Karpaty mountain ranges.
It has been constructed with the financial aid of the EU, as a part of the pre-accesion SAPARD program. The pension includes 9 double-bed rooms, 1 double-bed suite, and a family suite.
The rooms are luxuriously furnished. Each includes a toilet, shower, phone, cable TV and internet. The restaurant with a capacity of 40 chairs offers specialties of Slovak and international cuisine, as well as meals prepared according to traditional recipes. Menu also includes Slovak wines ot the highest quality. The pension contains a relax center: massages, fitness and sauna. A conference room with the capacity of 14 places is prepared for seminars, training, and business meetings.
In the summer season it is possible to sit on a terrace, which, in addition to barbecued specialties, offers a fabulous view of the surrounding mountains. The hills are a great attraction for the fans of rural tourism, mushroom picking, bike tours, hunting, as well as horse trips an riding. The pension is situated just 16 km from the Čertov and Kohútka ski centers, lying at the Slovak-Moravian border, with possibilities of downhill and cross-country skiing.
