Memorial room of the village Dohňany
Thanks to rich history and influence of famous personalities in our village, the Municipality office of Dohňany took advantage of SAPARD programm. Using financial aid from this program the municipality managed to realize project named "Memorial room of the village".
Thanks to rich history and influence of famous personalities in our village, the Municipality office of Dohňany took advantage of SAPARD programm. Using financial aid from this program the municipality managed to realize project named "Memorial room of the village".
Inhabitans, visitors and tourists are informed about the history, way of life and famous personalities that lived in our village.
Because of it 's historical value and good position in the centre of the village, the old school building (built beginning of the 20th century) was used for this project. The whole building was reconstructed and modernized.
The surroundings of the building is arranged as a parking space for visitors and a small park with trees, flowers, fountain and park benches for spending free time.
Value of the project: The whole project needed financial aid of 9,3 mil. Sk. 100% of them were compensated from EU funds.
